This '54 210 Coupe got the "labor of love" treatment as it was frame off restored over a five year period by its previous owner. The body received a bare metal rotisserie repair, the frame was sand blasted and coated with rust proofing POR15. Bright work was re-chromed and the car was painted Tropical Turquoise and the interior reupholstered in white vinyl.
A new ZZ4 350 cubic inch crate motor was installed, topped of with Edelbrock intake and carb; aluminum radiator, headers and electronic ignition. Fresh wiring throughout, Dolphin Gauges, Vintage Air and tilt steering column. A Mustang 2 front end with (unassisted) rack and pinion steering and power assisted front disc (rear drum) brakes. A rebuilt Muncie 4-speed transmission fronts a TCI 9" Ford rear end with a cruiser 3.09 gear set rolling on American Racing "weld" style wheels clad with BF Goodrich radials.
This car runs and drives like a dream. Sounds and looks awesome. Its no concours car but it was built to be driven and can still place at a local car show. Complete with a stack of receipts and a photo album depicting the restoration beginning to end.
