HIGHLIGHTS: This Torino GT Fastback is one bad ride! Built for
street/strip use, this prostreet monster is ready to take on any
challenge. 1970 Torino GT 429 N code, nut and bolt restoration
completed in 2018, 598 CID V8 with nitrous, the list goes on and
on!
BODY OVERVIEW: The body on this Torino is smooth and straight, with
a slick Calypso Coral paint job laid on top. It's no surprise how
clean and straight this car is, given the recency and quality of
the restoration it received. The subtle change to the height of the
hood has been done with intent and hints to the monster that lies
below in the engine compartment.
PAINT CONDITION OVERVIEW: The Calypso Coral paint is a fantastic
color choice for this car, and is in fantastic condition as can be
expected for a car of this caliber. This is the original color for
this car, complete with laser stripes. With a color this bright and
high impact, this Torino GT is sure to turn some heads even when it
is parked!
INTERIOR CONDITION OVERVIEW: The interior condition is very much
"racecar" without losing that classic car feel. Equipped with a
roll cage, racing harnesses, and a big old bottle of nitrous this
bad girl is ready to get down! Plus it even has Vintage Air A/C to
keep you cool while looking hot!
MECHANICAL OVERVIEW: There is almost too much to list about this
Torino! Seriously; the list of upgrades just keeps going. Upgrades
include:
-598 CID short block with Twisted Wedge heads and intake topped
with a Holley Dominator carb and nitrous
-Custom stainless 20 gallon gas tank
-March serpentine pulley & belt system
-Custom 2-1/4" headers and 3" exhaust with cut-outs
-C6 transmission built by Animal Performance
-Eaton differential with 3.75 gears and 33 spline axles
-Heidt coil over front/rear suspension
-Power rack and pinion steering
-Magnum 500 style 17x11' wheels with Nitto tires
Finished off with power Wilwood 4-wheel disc brakes, this Torino is
a serious ride.
WHAT YOU'LL LOVE ABOUT THIS CAR: The throaty rumble of the 598 and
the color of the paint. Plus, it's a Torino GT Fastback; what's not
to love?
WHAT YOU MIGHT HATE ABOUT THIS CAR: If you are looking for a quiet
cruiser, this is as far from it as you can get!
DOES IT NEED ANYTHING? The only things we would do to this car is
fix the wipers and reverse lights!
WHAT BUYER IS LOOKING FOR THIS CAR? This is the car for the
enthusiast that is looking for a real, true muscle car that
requires muscle and focus to operate. This car stands for unbridled
horsepower and the exhaust sings the sounds of American Muscle.
