1965 Mustang Pony Car 1965 Ford Mustang (1964-1/2) F-Code Original V8 Car Full Frame on Restoration Overview: Here is a beautifully restored 1965 Ford Mustang, specifically an early '65 model year (1964-1/2) F-Code, Meaning originally equipped with a 260ci V8 2v. Now this Mustang has been upgraded to 289ci 4v rebuilt engine. Backed by a 4-speed manual transmission, and a 3.55 Rear Posi-traction differential making acceleration great! Suspension/Brakes: All New front suspension, front 1-inch lowering stiffer springs, bushings, control arms, new steering box, and steering linkage. Front performance KONI Shocks, Rear air shocks for ride height adjustability and wheel clearance, along with new leaf spring shackle bushings. New front disc brakes drilled and slotted for performance, new rear drum brakes, all new fuel and brake lines, new rear brake cylinders. Cruises straight down the road and handles amazingly! Electrical: Brand new (AAW) complete vehicle electrical harness. Digital Radio with two rear pioneer stereo speakers, 1 stereo speaker up front with Bluetooth connectivity, USB charge port and aux port. Fully functional gauges, standard Fuel and Temp Gauges as well as aftermarket Oil Temperature and RPM Color change selectable gauges. 3-speed heater for defroster/feet/fresh air modes. One wire high output alternator, internally regulated. Electric choke, with points ignition. The new electrical harness has built-in circuits for adding additional accessories.
