1959 Porsche 356A Convertible Rare Porsche one family car cared for
and maintained in very nice driver quality condition. Has
continually been running and driven regularly since it was restored
32 years ago. Restored in 1987-1990 in Scottsdale Arizona with
approximately 11K driven since. Single family owned since the car
was purchased from the original owner in 1961. Original owner was
an Air Force Major stationed in Morocco who purchased the car new
at the factory in Stuttgart Germany. This 356A has the desirable
1600 engine. According to the owner this 1959 Porsche has Matching
numbers Porsche 1600cc engine and gear box with Matching Hard Top.
Engine was rebuilt and bored out to approx 1800cc when restored in
1990. Original color was White with Red Leather interior. Painted
Black with Camel leather interior this 356A appears very factory
traditional. Upgraded 6 volt optima battery, digital stereo with
kick panel speakers and electrical wiring was completely updated
when restored. This is a very dependable and presentable high level
driver condition 356A. Clear California Title and current
California DMV registration Original black California License
