Seven Hills Motortrucks is proud to offer this beautiful 1950
Chevrolet 3600 pickup truck in amazing condition. This Chevrolet
pickup looks fantastic, runs great, and is a nice driver. The blue
exterior paired with the brown interior is a nice color combination
that looks great on the truck. This is an excellent opportunity to
own a classic pickup truck that is ready to be used and enjoyed at
an unbeatable value. One could easily buy this truck now and sell
it for more than the purchase price in years to come as the market
on classic pickups is strong right now and, on the rise, especially
for clean examples like this truck. Please peruse all of the
photos, video, and information to get a true sense of how nice,
clean, and original this Chevrolet really is.
This classic Chevy is totally solid with great floors, body, and
cab corners. The previous owner said that this truck sat in a
museum for over 20 years. When he purchased it he had truck
serviced to address any issues from sitting that long. He also had
the engine checked and the valve-train serviced.
As a side note, this Chevrolet pickup is not a dealer auction
vehicle. We hand pick each truck after careful inspection. Our
classics come from owners who expect their truck to go to someone
that will give the vehicle the same care and attention as they did.
We invite and encourage you to examine the truck in person or have
the truck inspected. Please take the time to scrutinize each
picture. We photograph each vehicle to the greatest extent so you
can feel confident about your purchase. If you have a question
about the pickup truck, just give us a call.
Exterior
The blue exterior is in great driver condition. As one can see in
the photos the finish has a terrific gloss and nice shine. The 8
lug wheels are in great condition with a great finish and no curb
rash. The Continental tires have about 90% of tread left and are
sized 235/75R15. There are no major imperfections that have been
intentionally excluded from the photos. There are some small
imperfections that were too small to show up in the photos, but
nothing that is noticeable from about five or ten feet away. The
wood bed looks nice as one can see in the photos. The truck is very
clean underneath as one can see in the many photos of the
underside. The frame is solid and we have also included specific
photos of the rear spring mounts, rockers, lower panels, cab
corners, and the area's most prone to rust to show how this truck
looks.
Interior
The dark brown interior in this pickup truck is in amazing
condition. The seat is in excellent shape and looks as good in
person as they do in the photos with no split seams, holes or
excessive wear. The seat is not overly worn in the typical area on
the bolster where the driver gets in and out. The gauge faces are
crisp and clean and the lenses are crystal clear. The door panels
are in excellent shape. The dash is in great condition with no
cracks, fading, or sun damage.
Mechanical
This pickup truck seems to be in good mechanical condition. The
216ci straight six engine starts right away every time, runs well,
and idles smoothly. It drives well for an old truck and feels nice
on the road. In the video in this ad one can observe the truck
accelerating on the highway up to about 70mph, shifting through all
the gears, braking to stoplight, and going through some curves.
Please note that there are no vibrations or strange noises and the
truck performs quite well overall. The brakes do not pull to one
side or the other. The shifter feels nice and does not pop out of
gear. The clutch feels good. The truck runs cool and does not
overheat. This classic Chevy sounds great. Also, the engine
compartment is beautifully clean, detailed, and correct as one can
see in the photos. The spotlight works as do all the exterior
lights, and all of the gauges. The windshield wipers go up, but
need a hand to go back down. The truck does not have turn signals
and we cannot figure out how to get the heater to work. The horn
clicks, but does not blow. We have driven the truck on the road
around our dealership and up to about 40 miles per hour, but we
have not had it up to highway speeds. Not enough can be said as to
how much of a pleasure it is to drive this truck.
Overall Condition
Overall, this 1950 Chevrolet 3600 pickup truck is in magnificent
driver condition. The low miles, the beautiful color combination,
and the excellent overall condition make this truck especially
important and hard to duplicate. It is very hard to find a pickup
truck from this era that is still in great original condition with
low mileage as most were used and abused. We did not receive a door
key with the truck, but we can have a key made for $250 if the
future owner wants one. This truck always gets a ton of attention
driving down the road. It is apparent that the vehicle has been
well taken care of by its previous owners. The prices of classic
pickups increased considerably over the past several years. They
are secure and wise investments for a collector. One could easily
enjoy this vehicle for several years and sell it for more than the
purchase price with minimal effort.
Thank you for looking and please do not hesitate to email or call
