Vehicle Description
On the lot right now is an absolutely stunning 1965 Ford Mustang
Fastback. The Mustang initiated the 'Pony Car" segment of the car
market, characterized by its distinctive characteristics of a long
hood and short deck. The introduction of the car proved to be
immensely popular, provoking a whole host of competition from
cross-town rivals such as GM and Chrysler. The "2+2 Fastback"
optional bodystyle, of which this car is an example, was added in
September of 1964 and proved to be the most attractive of the
Mustang bodystyle offerings. Powered by a 289 C.I. Ford V8, this
Mustang puts the "fast" in "Fastback". The V8 breathes through an
Edelbrock 4-barrel carburetor and power is delivered to the rear
wheels through a 3-speed automatic transmission. The black interior
is in great shape accompanied by chrome trim, and the bucket seats
are extremely comfortable. This beautiful Mustang is equipped with
factory air conditioning, an updated AM/FM/Cassette stereo unit,
power steering, a tachometer, power brakes, and a newer dual
exhaust system. The car rides on a new set of American Racing
wheels on top of new Advanta tires. This "Rangoon Red" beauty runs
and drives just like a dream. It sounds great, and most of all, it
feels great. This incredible Mustang is just waiting for the right
person to get it back out on the road.
