The incredible 1966 Chevrolet II SS 327ci / 350HP built to L79 tribute 4-Speed NOVA is a Frame-Off build 1500 miles!

This beautiful 1966 Chevy II 327ci 4-Speed NOVA was a 66,879 original mile car that has undergone a comprehensive and highly-detailed frame-off restoration. This incredible build has only 1500 miles since completion. It just doesn't get any better than this!

Throughout the first generation of the car, power options continually increased, and the Turbo Fire was a welcome edition for the 1966 model as many American drivers were demanding more power as the muscle car era began to really take hold.

Combine that with a completely restored factory correct light fawn Bucket Seat Interior w/Console. The fawn Bucket Seat Interior is absolutely flawless from front to back and in completely stock form. The chrome console and all of the interior chrome accents are stunning condition, and everything appears to be showroom fresh from the headliner to the carpeting. All of the gauges and dash trim has been restored to NEW showroom condition. All the lights, blinkers, ect., work perfectly. Even the original Radio and trim have been restored. Take a close look at the glove box trim and script... are Mint condition! This is the finest 1966 Chevy II SS interior anywhere! One very RARE feature is the dash tachometer. Only a handful were ever available.

The SS has been built to the L79 standards with a 327 and manual 4-speed what a beautiful tribute. Highly detailed engine bay resides the 327ci/350HP L79 V-8 motor, linked to a Muncie M20 4-Speed transmission which feeds power to the 10-Bolt Rear End w/3:55.1 gears. The rear leaf's have a set of CalTracs bolt on traction system. Full pre-load adjustability, keeps axles from rotating/maintains pinion angle, improves 60' times. Take a close look at the headers have you ever seen such a work of art! It is breath taking to see all the detail. Note the distinctive dual-snorkel chrome air breather. The script on the valve covers proudly reads, "Turbo-Fire 350 Horsepower built by the Number One Team Chevy."

All of the chrome & stainless trim is either brand new or completely restored, and is show quality throughout. The NOVA SS was identified by the body sill moldings, SS grill emblem, "Super Sport" script on the rear fenders, front and rear wheel opening moldings, full-width rear deck panel with Chevy II nameplate and SS badge. Body is laser straight painted in Chevy metallic Marina Blue (F code) the original color would have been Aztec Bronze. All the gaps and alignment are perfect! The shine is so deep it has a mirror reflection.

The undercarriage is as highly detailed from the painted floor pans to every bend in the stainless brake & fuel lines. There is not one nut or bolt that has not gotten detailed for display.

Chevrolet built 20,986 NOVA SS cars for the 1966 model year, 4,675 of them were six cylinders, there were 16,311 V8's made with 3,547 of them being the L79 option. With only 3,547 ever made and only a handful remain. Add the 327ci/350HP L79 motor and Muncie M20 4-Speed transmission to this tribute you certainly have one desirable NOVA SS cars available anywhere at any price!
