Vehicle Description
This 1957 Chevrolet Corvette has the sleek and bright look of a
true classic. But beneath the surface is the fuel-injected LS
heart, a custom chassis, modern suspension, four-wheel disc bras,
an overdrive transmission, a luxury interior, and much more. So
take some time to look over this fresh restomod build that keeps
everything you love and updates everything else to create an
awesome one-of-a-kind machine.
This is a bit stealthy from the first impression. The bright red
paint with iconic contrasting white coves just looks like the
two-tone of a sharply-presented first-generation Corvette. In fact,
the shine on this one is quite fresh because the full build was
finished only about a few months and five miles ago! This restomod
retains the iconic design lines that made this America's sports
car. The subtle power bulges in the hood, rounded fender lines, and
hint of tailfin are all pieces we love to see on a C1. And like any
good '60s machine, there was plenty of brightwork. Everything from
the intricate form-fitting split bumpers to the toothy grille all
has the mirror-like quality of serious investment. But this also
isn't quite a full incognito classic. There's an underlying
aggression to it that never quite came from the factory. It's seen
in the lowered stance, and those classic salt flat style alloys
have a larger and more powerful presence. It gives this true
classic truly speedy vibes.
While this one comes with a hardtop that makes this look like a
sleek coupe when it's in place, we really know that your favorite
days will be the ones with the roof off. After all, with an
interior this nice, it's great to share it with the world. The
bucket seats are Wise Guy units that offer better bolstering and
better clearance than stock. And there are also quality Al Knock
materials to give the interior a fresh feeling. This is a
thoughtful custom that's made to be driven. That's why you have
details with higher traffic areas done in black like the carpeting
and steering wheel so it will keep this convertible looking fresh
when you decide to actually start adding miles to this new build.
In fact, it was absolutely built to be a driver with
well-integrated upgrades like an air conditioning system (it will
need servicing to blow cold) and an AM/FM stereo with Bluetooth and
a USB for your phone. And new gauges keep the vintage placement
across the dash to give you a brighter and crisper style than even
Chevy gave you in '57.
You won't be able to resist lifting the hood and showing off every
time you park this custom. After all, the ultra-tidy engine bay has
an award-worthy level of presentation. Smooth inner walls, tucked
wires, and plenty of polish make it awesome. And the red Corvette
script valve covers are a thoughtful vintage touch. More than
stylish, this is a 6.0-liter LS2 V8. The builder included in the
specs a FiTech electronic fuel injection system, 36 lbs. injectors,
a 92mm throttle body, and an aluminum radiator with electric fans.
The new 4L60E four-speed automatic is a great transmission that has
a robust construction to handle the power and it also shifts
smoothly all the way into overdrive. As you look underneath, you
have a strong custom powder coated frame, a tubular A-Arms front
end, four-link rear, QA1 coilovers, rack & pinion power steering,
and Wilwood four-wheel disc brakes.
This is the fresh build made to be fully enjoyed and admired. So if
you appreciate true style and serious power, don't let this custom
slip away. Call today!!!
