Powered by the numbers matching L-71 427 producing 435 horsepower and backed by the 4-Speed manual transmission, this is a special Corvette. Being driven only 39,842 miles, this is truly a rare find.

Finished in the one year only color code 992 Corvette Bronze, this is the original color to this car. The interior is also the rare Dark Orange leather interior code 426. This color combination is very desirable and only offered in 1968.

This is a very original car that has been restored as needed throughout the years. The car has been repainted in the original color Corvette Bronze exterior many years ago. The car has chips and imperfections and is a driver quality paint job. The interior is mostly original with only new carpeting installed. New full carpeting from the front to the back luggage area was installed. The leather seats are soft and supple and showing minimal wear which is reflective of 39k miles. The door panels show no wear or cracks, and are in remarkable condition. The dashboard and gauges are also in excellent shape. The gauges seem to operate fine with an exception of an intermittent clock. The black convertible top also appears to be the original and shows some wear from use but is still most certainly usably.

Under the hood you will see that this Corvette was ordered with the top of line L-71 427 Tri-power engine rated at 435 horsepower. The engine compartment is mostly original the engine is stamp with the correct IR stamp denoting the L-71 427. The vin number is stamped on the block as well. The original engine still has the original GM hoses! These are not reproductions. The original aluminum intake manifold houses the correct Tri-power carburetors. The engine bay is virtual original and untouched!
