This 1986 Ford F-350 XLT Lariat pickup is one clean Bullnose that
spent its life in California. It is really hard to find the Bullnos
Ford's in this condition and a F350 to boot makes this a pretty
special truck. This truck is loaded with options and has had only 2
owners from new. The first owner owned the truck until 2021 and he
too excellent care of this vehicle and it shows. The body on this
F350 is excellent....very clean and super straight. It was recently
professionally painted in its original colors of Desert Tan
metallic and Light Desert Tan and the paint looks excellent! The
chrome and moldings are all in excellent shape and the inside of
the bed is beautiful. The original underside is as nice as they
come with the original primer still showing on the sheet metal.
The interior is also in nice condition and everything appears to be
original. The interior has held up really nice, especially for this
vintage of truck. Even the original seat and carpet are still
really nice. The headlights, taillights, brakelights, and turn
signals are all working. This truck has power windows and locks
that are working. It is an AC truck and all of the components are
there and the compressor engages, but it is not blowing cold. The
gauges are all working and the horn and wipers are working. This
truck does have cruise but it is not working.
Mechanically this truck is excellent!!! It runs and drives
wonderful. The engine is the original 7.5L 460 V8 that runs strong
with no issues or red flags that we found. It has a newer Holley 4
Barrel Carb and a nice sounding flowmaster exhaust. It was recently
tuned up and they also replaced the gas tanks. The transmission is
the C6 Automatic that shifts nice and it is mated to the Borg
Warner Manual Transfer Case. The 4WD works like it should. The rear
axle is a 10.25 with 4.10 gears and the front axle is the Kingpin
Dana 60 with 4.10 gears. This is all sitting on a nice set of steel
wheels with newer 33 Inch All terrain tires.
