1968 Chevrolet Camaro SS, '1980s magazine car time capsule'. I
bought this Camaro with the intention of painting it the original
GROTTO BLUE and Doing car shows etc. I still may as it is in such
amazing condition. This car has been this way aside from the 1989
multi colored paint scheme, The T400 has a reverse manual valve
body and a trans brake but the race converter was taken out for
street driving as the owner was in his late 80's. Now a 10inch
converter is in place of the race converter and it drives very well
on the street. The Rear end is a DANA 60 with I believe 4.56 gears
and with the 31' tall Mickey Thompsons it feels like 4.10 gears,
again very street able. The Engine is the famous L88 427 with
Rectangle Iron heads, with 10.5to 1 PUMP GAS compression ratio. The
paint is from 1989 and has chips and blemishes, Engine, Trans, Rear
is very fresh. I have included the magazine article when the car
was Black, The wheels are MAGNESIUM MOTOR WHEEL FLYS, SUPER
EXTREMELY RARE AND POSSIBLY WORTH 10K ALONE. The Camaro is Said to
be an Original SS 396 4 SPEED CAR, but all that made way for a 427
in the 1970s. Via 80 something year old owner of the car from 1989
until 2022. I HAVE A BINDER FULL OF RECEIPTS SINCE 1989. Please
