Since 1990 in the Netherlands and for own use body off restored. Stayed with the same owner since that time, so in posession of one owner for no less than 32 years! This owner took years to tackle everything tip top and had the car painted in the beautiful Austin-Healey color "Primrose Yellow". There are also new black spoke rims mounted with chrome spinners and that makes a stunning contrast.
Newly delivered in Seattle, Washington and provided with the heritage certificate, the USA title and the import documents. During the restoration, various technical issues were adjusted to improve reliability such as an aluminum fuel tank, heavy duty radiator, power brakes, and a new wiring harness with main current switch. Really everything was renewed or overhauled and therefore we speak of a top quality restoration. After the restoration, the Healey has driven very little, so everything is almost in a new condition. The iconic and reliable 6 cylinder has been completely overhauled including balanced crankshaft, remanufactured SU carbs and new ignition. There's also a spaghetti exhaust manifold with sports exhaust fitted that makes for an insanely beautiful sound. The engine runs great and has high torque. The interior is immaculately beautiful, the dashboard is newly upholstered and the seats are newly filled and upholstered in beautiful black leather and white piping. The black hood is also new and the window is clear and scratch-free.
And also important; this 3000 drives, steers and shifts wonderful, the strong 6 cylinder sounds nice and the overdrive works flawlessly. It is rightly an iconic British sports car; beautiful design, a powerful engine with a great sound and stylish. Especially in this beautiful color with black spoke rims, it is a beautiful appearance.
