Chevrolet Nova for sale in our Mesa, AZ showroom. A complete custom
build with a 450+hp V8 wrapped in a coordinated slick black package
should never be this affordable. But the price on this 1973
Chevrolet Nova SS is real, and the all-out performance it brings to
the streets is, too! It's obvious from the moment you lay eyes on
this coupe that it's no ordinary Nova. The Subaru orange paint
looks like the sunset (there are a few issues with the paint on the
roof and a few small spots throughout). The front clip has been
converted to a 71 front end and rear has also been converted to 71
as well. But the overall package is a much brighter affair. If that
doesn't catch them, the mirror-like chrome bumpers will. Add in the
4-inch power dome hood, black badging, and 17-inch WELD wheels, and
this the kind of aggression you want in a classic custom muscle
car. Backing up this intimidating appearance is the knowledge that
the Nova is one of the best cars for the street or dragstrip,
because they are the perfect combination of a compact/lightweight
coupe that was built with the same stout parts as Chevy's other
larger muscle cars. The interior is every bit as nicely finished as
the exterior with high back Procar bucket seats, custom center
console, new carpet, new dash, and custom door panels. This Nova is
clearly a driver's car. The grippy three-spoke steering wheel is
covered in leather to match the exterior color scheme, and your
right hand will love rowing through the iconic Hurst shifter. Added
8-point roll cage. You know there's something special in the engine
bay just by looking at the array of Autometer gauges finished in
carbon fiber. Before opening the hood, you may want to put on your
sunglasses. The chrome and orange that were the accessory colors on
the exterior now take center stage in the engine bay. The
ultra-clean wire and hose setup ensures everyone gets a good look
at this 383 cubic inch stroker motor. Beyond just looking great
with all the polish, it was specially built to run with the big
boys. The built 350 engine 3970010 full roller has been fortified
and enhanced with goodies such as a full cam package (cam,
pushrods, and rockers), compression upped, and Brawler four-barrel
carburetor. There's so much more to this V8, so call for all the
details, but just know the Nova is rated to lift the front tires.
Has been benched, but not street broke in yet. And the shorty
headers and dual exhaust will let everyone hear the roar of this
superior power. You have complete control over the sound and fury
of the big V8 thanks to the 2-speed power glide. It feeds the stout
Ford 9-inch rear end with locker and street slicks for takeoffs. Up
front the independent suspension and power steering makes this a
great driver, and in the rear, the enhanced suspension with
traction bars gets the power to the streets. Finish it all off with
four-wheel disc brakes and modern performance tires, and you've got
a classic that will outrun more modern machines. This custom build
was completed in 2021 and at a cost around $60K. We can easily tell
you this is the Nova you always wanted for far less then it would
