Vehicle Description
Factory Five is known to be the masters in building classic Shelby
Cobras with plenty of modern flair. So just imagine what they can
do with an iconic 1933 Ford 3-Window Roadster. The stroker V8
power, sports suspension, four-wheel disc brakes, four-speed auto
with overdrive, and a comfortable A/C interior prove this is a true
stunner that's a solid all-around driver.
This is a modern fiberglass build done to the quality Factory Five
Racing standard. But what you'll probably notice is the very cool
ways this goes old school. The open engine bay sides, front cycle
fenders, and clean lines look like it could have been another
American Graffiti car. But that's part of this car's deceptively
cool style. All that open space shows off the modern front
suspension and how well the strong frame is integrated into the
body. And those solid steel wheels with beauty rings are pure hot
rod cool. So you may not first notice how they are a 17-inch size
that lets you fit better modern tires. And the low-dipping grille,
frenched taillights, and polished dual exhaust tips are all part of
this performance car attitude. And it's all wrapped in a bright red
with the kind of quality that reminds you there's less than 4,200
miles on the full build.
You may be wondering why this is called a roadster if it's clearly
a three-window coupe. That's because Factory Five has a unique
style where the full top (with windshield) unbolts for a roadster.
Both versions work well with the premium features in this Ford.
When you're a coupe, you'll appreciate the power windows that let
you have this fully enclosed. And when you're a roadster, the air
conditioning adds cold air to your breezes. Plus, no matter how you
choose to motor, you'll find the full interior attractive. Suicide
doors, red carpet piping, and sculpted bucket seats give this
plenty of added style. And there's also plenty of driver substance
with the sports steering wheel on a tilt column, a Lokar floor
shifter, and a dash dominated by AutoMeter readouts.
The body is a classic style Ford, and so it's great to have a
proper Ford powerhouse, too. This is a 347 cubic-inch stroker V8
with aluminum heads. It inhales deeply with a Holley four-barrel
carburetor, and BBK headers let this awesome motor exhale with a
sweet sound out of the dual exhaust. This also has good supporting
components, like an HEI distributor and an aluminum radiator with
electric fan. Big power is far from this build's whole story.
Factory Five also builds an outstanding chassis. It's a strong
setup that also has the right suspension components. It includes an
independent A-arm front end and a trailing arm rear with adjustable
coilovers. Add in a four-speed automatic transmission with
overdrive, modern sport tires, and four-wheel disc brakes, and this
is as good at eating up the highway miles as it is eating up the
asphalt.
This is the low-mileage build that gives you iconic style and the
best upgrades. So don't miss this coupe/roadster. Call today!!!
