This 1985 Chevrolet S-10 has the solid look and affordable price of
a useful yet classic truck. But did you notice the stance? It has
the forward-leaning look of intimidation that is one of the few
clues that this is a sleeper pickup with a solid small block
upgrade under the hood.
The gray paint has a nice look to it with a good gloss that helps
highlight the well-creased style that makes these S-10s so
attractive as classics. It's a nice presentation without getting
too fancy or too perfect. There's even liner paint in the bed for
weekend chores. The idea of this one is to be a cool sleeper. There
are little clues like the billet grille, dual exhaust, and a touch
of muscle car forward-leaning stance, but overall, it just looks
like that clean and classic pickup that reminds you of a story from
the good 'ol days.
The interior is both comfortable and useful. You have nice features
like dual bucket seats with a center console in-between, a tilt
steering column, a power driver's window, and an upgraded AM/FM
stereo with USB input and Bluetooth. This was even a factory A/C
truck, but most of the components have been sacrificed to focus on
power. Plus, the added auxiliary readouts and B&M Pro ratchet
shifter are a pretty big indicator you're going to like what's in
the engine bay.
You can immediately spot the big upgrade the moment you open the
hood. These S-10s never had factory V8 power, and so it's terrific
to have a 350 cubic-inch V8 in the engine bay. It has been built
with an Edelbrock upgrade suite with a four-barrel carburetor, Air
Gap intake, polished valve covers, and a matching air grabber. And
a nice set of headers feed into the dual exhaust. You'll even spot
nice supporting components like an aluminum radiator and dual
electric fans. This V8 makes for a terrific power upgrade, but what
you'll also like is how this can easily just be a fun cruiser. The
three-speed automatic transmission, power steering, power brakes,
and front discs make weekend drives easy.
This is the sharp-looking S-10 that also gives you more power than
Chevy ever did. So at a price like this, you know this pickup will
be gone soon. Call today!!!
