HIGHLIGHTS: Bagged, supercharged, patina long bed C10! This is an
honest old pickup with a clean body, and a big secret under the
hood! It is a great sleeper that still retains that classic 'farm
truck' look that is adored by the masses. With a supercharged 350
small block, this truck can go from 0-FUN extremely fast! But don't
let that fool you, because it can still haul a small load here and
there with ease.
BODY OVERVIEW: The body on this C10 is mostly straight, but does
show some normal wear from use as a truck. There are a couple of
dings here and there, but they add to the character and the super
unique look of this thing! This truck appears to have received a
mild refresh within the last 10 or so years, but it has not
received a full restoration. It isn't beat up by any means, but it
is clear the exterior of this truck was left alone on purpose. You
just can't manufacture this kind of look!
PAINT CONDITION OVERVIEW: The paint appears either to be original
or a very old repaint , and is in good but weathered condition.
Bear in mind that this is not a fancy paint job, but it is more so
a nice old truck with super cool patina. Replicating authentic
patina is an industry of its own nowadays, but this truck seems to
have come by it naturally and that is hard to beat. We wouldn't
have it any other way!
INTERIOR CONDITION OVERVIEW: The interior condition is actually
somewhat astounding given the exterior appearance. Through and
through, this truck is what we would describe as the perfect driver
candidate. If you're looking for a classic truck for weekend fun
that isn't useless as a pickup, this is an ideal choice. While
there is some visible wear on some interior components, it is in
excellent shape for the age of the vehicle and it is just right to
remain comfortable and complete the look without taking away from
the patinated exterior.
MECHANICAL OVERVIEW: This truck fires right up and runs very
smoothly. With the classic combination of a 350V8, and a 700R4
transmission, this truck will provide years of service and will be
easy to maintain for years to come. Plus, that overdrive
transmission means keeping up with modern cars is no problem! Well,
that and the Weiand supercharger bolted to the engine! Equipped
with bolt on airbags at all four corners (and air actuated switches
for adjusting each corner), this truck rides great and looks
fantastic slammed in a parking spot. Other upgrades include a
delightful set of white Chevrolet valve covers, long tube headers,
dual exhaust with electronically actuated exhaust cutouts, and
Flowmaster mufflers. With those exhaust cutouts, you can take this
truck from 'Whoa!' to 'WHOA!' at the push of a button!
WHAT YOU'LL LOVE ABOUT THIS CAR: The "farm truck" rat rod look, and
the (adjustable) stance.
WHAT YOU MIGHT HATE ABOUT THIS CAR: If you don't like lowered
trucks, airbags, superchargers, or fun, this is not for you.
DOES IT NEED ANYTHING? The horn, windows, and blower motor are not
currently operational.
WHAT BUYER IS LOOKING FOR THIS CAR? Whether you're looking for a
cool little parts hauler, shop truck, business advertising vehicle,
or a fun weekend cruiser, this old C10 has a super cool look and
would be a fantastic choice!
