There is something very unique and fun about this 1999 GMC Sierra
1500. It is a desirable short bed single cab with some cool custom
style that includes a slick color-shift body. And if it looks kind
of sporty to you, then you'll love to know it has a fuel-injected
V8 and a five-speed. So it makes for an interesting total package,
especially at this value price.
The lowered stance and 20-inch Billet Specialties wheels make sure
to announce this GMC is a true custom from even blocks away. As you
get a little closer, you start to notice how the color's tone
shifts with the light on this custom Mystic Teal Metallic. And
there's plenty more custom style to see on the LED headlights,
billet grille, cowl hood, bed liner paint, LED tail lights, and
smooth tailgate. The level of thoughtful quality is seen right down
to the little things. For example, you'll want to take some extra
time looking at the pinstripe on the sides and tailgate. It
provides a border for the custom design inside. And when you can
have spatter paint done in a clean and purposeful design, that's
truly an artistic touch.
The interior does a good job of giving you modern amenities with a
touch of custom flair. That's why the exterior's special teal is on
the door inserts and dash. Plus, we like the Billet Specialties
steering wheel, polished gauge panel, and white-faced readouts. At
its heart are nice stock features like power windows, a tilt
steering column, power locks, and cruise control. There's well-done
seating that gives you three across or you can fold down the center
console for a more bucket-like individuality. Minor items like the
stereo and power mirrors need restoring, and the air conditioning
may just need a recharge. But there's also a big aftermarket for
any replacement you may want. So overall you'll be quite happy with
the level of comfort.
Under the hood is a 4.8-liter Vortec V8. It's unknown if the
odometer reflects the full actual mileage, but regardless, we are
discovering that these fuel-injected powerhouses can be long-haul
kind of sturdy. This inhales deeper with a cold air intake, and the
dual exhaust is shortened underneath the truck for a throaty growl.
You're in complete control over this motor and its soundtrack
thanks to the rarely-seen five-speed manual transmission. It even
has a new clutch. Plus, power steering and four-wheel power disc
brakes make this an easy cruiser.
This is a unique truck with an all-around cool attitude. So at a
price like this, you know it won't stay available for long. Call
