Vehicle Description
This 2011 Ford Crown Victoria P7B is a true former police car
inside and out, and you know it's hard to beat the appeal of a Ford
with fortified fuel-injected V8 power. So this is a great way to
bring a bit of added fun to an affordable modern classic.
Of course, a Crown Victoria done in black and white is going to
immediately make you think of a police cruiser. But they took the
time to get the details quite right. The more recent application of
white paint looks good. It's not too fancy, but it really pops
against the darkness of the blackout grille, blackout rear panel,
door handles, tinted windows, and wheels. And the good body panels,
complete badging, and clear headlights make this one look like it's
still on duty. And that's the heart of the appeal on this one. It
is a former cop car by VIN, but the right touches of care inside
and out make this police cruiser a true anywhere/anytime
cruiser.
The interior has a bright and comfortable style with some added
distinction for the signs of where the police equipment was once
mounted. The driver's seat does show some use, but that's expected
in a car like this because it was built to be driven. That's why a
police version comes with comfort features you don't find in many
other Crown Victorias, like front bucket seats, room for a cup
holder center console, and power-adjustable pedals. In fact, you'll
appreciate the long list of amanitas, like cold-blowing air
conditioning, power windows, power locks, a rear defogger, a tilt
steering column, dual airbags, ABS, and an upgraded AM/FM/CD stereo
with Bluetooth. While it's unknown if this is the original
configuration, you can tell that today this was not built to keep
perps in the rear. The back seat is just as comfortable as the
front with nice cloth inserts and proper shoulder belts. There is
no divider, and so you passengers can take full advantage of the
Crown Vic's full-size legroom.
Under the hood is Ford's 4.6-liter modular V8. Yes, this is the
fuel-injected unit that's related to the one you love in the
Mustang. So not only does it provide plenty of power from stock,
but also you can easily add upgrades to this hardy motor if you so
desire. It fires up nicely and runs smooth, just like you want an
FI machine to be. And the four-speed automatic transmission gives
you overdrive comfort. Features like power steering, sway bars
front & rear, and four-wheel power disc brakes make this quite
confident on the road. Plus, the Innovative Performance chip and
muffler delete give this one a better power and growl in case your
ex-cop car needs to still be an intimidator.
