This 1968 Jaguar XKE is a Series 1.5 2+2 coupe that was reportedly acquired by the current owner in 2019 from a family member following approximately 15 years of storage. Subsequent recommissioning is said to have included servicing the brakes and carburetors, refreshing the interior, and replacing the windshield, blower motor, water pump, fuel sending unit, and front shocks. The car has been repainted red over cream vinyl upholstery and is powered by a 4.2-liter inline-six equipped with dual carburetors and paired with a four-speed manual transmission. Series 1.5 XKE featured early-style taillights mounted above the rear bumper as well as exposed headlights similar to the Series 2. Said to have been originally finished in green, this example has been repainted red.
