1971 Triumph Daytona 500 T 100 R DGM3187 VIN. EE23187. We bought
this bike on Orcas Island and Andrew rode it back sightseeing on
his way. 3 owner bike. From the seller his comments to us (The bike
rides well and I used to use it to commute to work every day (when
I didn't need a pickup to haul wood). The guy I bought it from on
Lopez said a friend had it garaged since the 70s (he bought it from
his friend late 90s) with 200 miles on it and that he bought it and
put about 2000 on it (just on Lopez Island). I put the rest of the
miles on since. I have had it for 6 years and have never had any
issue with the way it runs. I had it garaged for the last 2 years
because I was building my house, and when I added fuel this Spring,
it started right up first kick and I rode it over to San Juan and
spent 6 hours over there riding around and back. I have always
drained the gas before storage and cleaned and retuned the carbs,
plus change the oil every year.) Andrew had a great ride and says
the Triumph ran and rode very well. It's a good looking bike. Has
bar end mirrors. Ethanol free gas. The speedometer shows 6,923
miles and I believe that is probably actual miles but know way of
proving it so selling as unknown miles. Recent new tires. Great for
vintage riding.
