This is a very nice 1998 Mercedes Benz SL500 in arguably the best
color combination of Imperial Red with Beige leather!! It is in
excellent overall condition including a recent service, brand new
tires and brand new brakes. It runs and drives great, the air
conditioning is cold and it has both a factory hardtop and the
power convertible top. The convertible top is very usable as it is
but does show some wear areas which I have highlighted in the
photos. The convertible top plastic rear windows are in very nice
condition and are not cloudy or cracked. The Carfax is accident
free but does show a clerical error on the mileage. The car has
84,521 actual miles verified by the receipts and records but when
the third owner, who we purchased it from, went to the license
branch they did not take the car with them or write down the miles
so when the clerk asked them the miles on the car they told them
they did not know for sure so the clerk at the BMV just marked true
miles unknown. I have an actual mile odometer statement signed by
the third owner that will go with the car. The car comes with the
original owners manual package, some recent records and both remote
keys. It has the optional heated seats and still has the factory
wind stop. This is a very nice looking and driving Mercedes Benz
SL500 and represents a lot of value for what you get!!! It will
take you many fun miles in style!!!
