circle, while the aluminum construction reduces weight. The LS1's
aluminum cylinder heads and composite intake manifold were designed
as a single system to optimize airflow and combustion efficiency.
For ultra-smooth performance, all the LS1's intake manifold runners
are identical, resulting in consistent airflow to each
cylinder.
