This absolutely stunning Corvette has been judged and awarded the
prestigious NCRS Top Flight certificate. Judging sheets are
included. This is the 2nd lowest production year ever for a
Corvette with only 700 being made total! This is number 640. It has
been body off frame restored to a very high standard. One of the
best restorations I've seen. It also has every option that was
available. We just purchased 25 cars from the Claude O. estate. He
had a full time mechanic maintaining his cars. He wanted to be able
to drive any car at any time.

EXTERIOR: Far better than it was brand new. The body is absolutely
pristine. It is laser beam straight, no damage. The gaps are
precise, doors click shut. The gypsy red paint is literally
polished like a red piece of glass. I don't see any cracking, chips
or scratches anywhere. Every piece of chrome is restored to show
quality level. The convertible frame was restored, it has a tan
Haartz cloth in mint shape. The side windows are restored, the
glass and the chrome frames are excellent. The weather strips and
seals have been replaced. The wheels are painted body color, the
spinner hubcaps are in excellent shape. They each have reproduction
BFG Silver Town whitewall tires.
INTERIOR: Restored like new. All red cars came with white
upholstery and red stitching. Correct tight loop carpet and the
unique shifter are on the floor. The dash area is beautiful. Gauges
are restored, knobs and steering wheel are excellent. The door
panels are restored. It has the optional signal seek radio, heater,
emergency brake, turn signals and courtesy lights that work.
ENGINE COMPARTMENT: Correct 265 V8 engine. The Corvette's made 33
horsepower more than any other Chevy with a hotter cam and 4 barrel
carb. Everything appears correct: the manifolds, Chevrolet script
valve covers, pie pan air cleaner and chrome ignition shielding.
Correct stainless braided wires, original choke tube, plug wire
holders, hoses and clamps. The wiring harness was replaced. Every
component was restored. It has electric wipers and optional
washers.
TRUNK COMPARTMENT: Restored like brand new and it is complete. The
entire compartment was painted neatly. Under the floor mat is a
matching spare and whitewall tire. It has the complete jack
assembly too. The bag was reproduced that holds the door
windows.
UNDERSIDE: The body was off the frame and the underside is restored
and detailed like brand new. The floors are raw fiberglass in
excellent condition. They've been cleaned, no damage. The chassis
has been disassembled, prepped and painted smooth satin black. The
assembly line markings have even been duplicated. The entire
suspension was rebuilt, it has correct spiral shocks. Steering was
rebuilt. The brakes were rebuilt, has stainless brake lines,
e-brake assembly is hooked up. Looking up at the motor it is
spotless, fuel pump and starter are restored. It has the correct
date coded Powerglide transmission that looks like new. Rebuilt
drive shaft, original rear end stamped MW with 3.55 gears.
Truly an outstanding restoration, one of the best I've seen. You
don't have to take my word, it's been judged by the experts!
