This 1997 Dodge Viper RT/10 is a very nice, driver example of the legendary supercar with just under 41,000 original miles. This Viper RT/10 is very rare as RT/10's go since it is 1 of only 117 RT/10's produced in 1997. The Viper Red exterior shines very well and is in very good condition with only minor stone chips and some scrapes on the bottom of the front bumper to note. The fiberglass is in excellent condition with no defects. The Viper Red exterior is complimented nicely by the factory, painted hardtop and factory, polished chrome wheels. The Black leather interior is in very good condition with only very minor wear present. The interior is complimented nicely by the factory Red steering wheel, Red shifter knob, and Red emergency brake handle. Powering this awesome Dodge Viper RT/10 is its 450 HP, 8.0 liter V10 engine backed by its 6-speed manual transmission. Both the engine and transmission perform just as they should with no excuses. 1997 was the first year that the Viper RT/10 received the 450HP version of the 8.0 liter V10. The V10 powerplant benefits from the addition of a K&N air intake. This Viper RT/10 delivers a great sound thanks to the 8.0 liter V10 breathing through a set of Borla mufflers. The 4-wheel independent suspension is very tight and handles the road just like a low-mileage Viper should. The first and second generation Vipers were known for having very few comfort options, but this 1997 Viper RT/10 is nicely optioned with features such as: power steering, 4-wheel power disc brakes, air conditioning, power windows, in-dash tachometer, power door locks, intermittent wipers, and AM/FM/CD stereo.
