Vehicle Description
1970 Chevrolet Chevelle
The Chevelle was produced for 3 different generations spanning
across 1964 to 1978. It proved to be popular and went on to be one
of Chevrolet's most successful name plates. You can't talk muscle
cars without including the Chevelle name. This 1970 has undergone a
complete pro touring style restoration transforming it into one of
the coolest Chevelles on the road. It is painted in a very clean
Hugger Orange which has a great finish. The custom carbon fiber
hood and decklid are very nice accents and really give the car an
aggressive look. It also has a matching carbon fiber chin spoiler.
The glass all has a dark tint and is in great condition throughout.
All of the original style stainless and chrome has a beautiful
shine with no issues. The custom Blacked out American Racing Torq
Thrust wheels look perfect on the car and have a thin red line
painted a long the rim. They are wrapped with Nitto NT555R Extreme
Drag tires (Rear-305/35R20, Front-235/40ZR18).
With that tough looking exterior the car better have the drivetrain
to back it up and under the hood this classic leaves nothing to
disappoint. It is now powered by a Performance Unlimited 502 big
block motor. The car runs great and has plenty of power. The engine
compartment is very nicely dressed up with chrome and polished
billet components everywhere you look. It features custom 502 valve
covers, a March serpentine belt system, Edelbrock manifold, MSD
ignition and Muscle Carsusa air cleaner. The car has a great sound
through the custom dual exhaust with Flowmaster mufflers. In 2021
the car received a new drive shaft and in 2022 the Gear Star 4L65E
automatic transmission was installed. In back the car has a 12 bolt
rear end with positraction. Other nice additions include Pro
touring upper and totally tubular lower control arms, front/rear
coil overs, CPP hydraulic brake booster, and CPP big disc brakes.
The car runs out really well and utilizes the best of the best
components throughout.
Prior to the interior being complete it was completely sound
proofed. The high back bucket seats are from TMI products and it
has custom Black upholstery which is in great condition. Between
the bucket seats is a custom carbon fiber console which houses the
B&M ratchet shifter with custom carbon fiber knob. The dash is
very cleanly done with custom aftermarket red backlit gauges in
place of the originals. It has been kept mostly original except for
those gauges and the custom Pioneer flip out entertainment unit.
The Old Air AC system works properly and blows cold. The trunk is
nicely finished out and is where you will find the SPX Audio
amplifier.
This is a very solid clean car that has a lot more than our asking
price invested. You couldn't recreate it for this price so this
would be a great addition to any collection.
Offered up at the very reasonable $59,850.00!
