For Sale: 1993 Chevrolet C/K 1500 in Ft Worth, Texas

Vehicle Description

Someone forgot to remind this 1993 Chevrolet C1500 Silverado that it's a pickup truck. Somewhere along the way, it received a slick restoration that includes that INSANE custom paint job, bespoke leather interior, beefy motor, and an athletic suspension that makes it more muscle car than utilitarian hauler. No expense was spared on the build of this custom Chevy, and it certainly shows. We'll do our best to describe it in words and in our pictures, but be prepared to be amazed when you see it in person.

Ordinarily, a 1993 Chevrolet C1500 keeps a low profile. However, that all changed when the former owner of this Show Truck broke out his checkbook and told the builders to fill in any number they please. The first thing they did was slam it to the ground, shave the body of all emblems and handles, and add a slick hood, smooth tailgate, billet grille, bespoke front bumper, and custom roll pan out back. Then, they drenched it with gallons upon gallons of Burgundy Maroon Metallic paint, integrated (in fact, they were 'ghosted' in) insanely cool stars and stripes, and buried it all under miles of clearcoat. It's a show-quality paint job all the way. Everywhere you look, it's top-flight, including the door jambs, engine bay, and even inside the bed. This is one of the rare times when our HD pictures don't do the truck justice, that's simply how nice this Silverado looks in person. Up front, the billet grille and custom front bumper sets the tone, while out back the bed was finished like a dance floor, with beautifully glazed wood on the floor and a black cover that keeps it safe from the elements. Euro-style headlights and taillights match the theme, all the glass was smoked, and the oversized chrome wheels match the truck perfectly. All the workmanship is first-class, and quite frankly, the current asking price probably wouldn't even cover this paint job these days.

Hit those door poppers and the first thing you see inside is a set of custom low-back bucket seats that were swapped in favor of the original bench. The top grain leather was stitched together with burgundy diamond inserts that match all the painted surfaces inside, including the custom center console, the custom speaker box behind the seats, and the tops of the door panels. The dash was mostly left stock, which was a great call because it shows that the builders started with a very solid truck, although they couldn't resist adding a trick steering wheel atop the tilt column ahead of the driver. Subtle custom pieces like the woodgrain bezel around the factory gauges and the billet handles on the door panels add to the bespoke theme, and with spotless carpets on the ground and a taut headliner above, you know nothing was overlooked in this build. Options include cold factory A/C, cruise control, power windows/locks, and a kickin' stereo controlled by the Pioneer AM/FM/CD/AUX head unit in the center of the dash. Much like the exterior, you'd be hard-pressed to find a single thing to complain about inside.

An uber-dependable 4.3L Vortec V6 is plenty to get this truck moving and to haul just about anything that'll fit in the bed. With decent horsepower and plenty of torque, this fuel-injected powerplant really scoots around town easily and has a great muscle car soundtrack to go with it. The engine bay is neatly detailed and organized, including a custom open-element air cleaner, chrome valve covers, and a set of stock-style headers that feed the Flowmaster exhaust below. Turn the key and it starts easily, which is what you'd expect from a late-model Chevy, and it feels like a far younger vehicle from behind the wheel. A 4-speed automatic transmission spins a 10-bolt rear end filled with easy gears out back, making highway cruising easy and relatively efficient, and power steering and power front disc brakes reinforce that very point. Oversized 18-inch chrome wheels take a modern spin on the vintage look, and they wear 255/45/18 performance radials all around that fill the fenders perfectly.

A slick-looking, well-equipped show truck that's ready to dominate the field. Clean OBS Chevy trucks are getting scarce, and you'll have a hard time find a better build with a slicker curb presence than this. Call today!
