Vehicle Description
This 1979 Chevrolet K10 Silverado 4x4 has a strong V8, overdrive
transmission, a custom A/C interior, and a long file of receipts
documenting plenty of investments within the last few years. It all
makes for the shining pickup that loves work and play.
The first thing you'll notice on this truck is the paint. Gray
always looks good on a truck because it makes a truck look like it
was forged from stone - especially when the body panels continue to
look this good. Plus, the modern metallic element and high-gloss
presentation give this a premium feel. It's an attractive truck
with the right investments, but you'll also notice that it keeps
the right amount of vintage style. You'll see it in the
presentation of the bumpers, Rally wheels, and premium full-length
Silverado trim. And it's also nice to see a truck that doesn't shy
away from doing work. You have a heavy-duty rear bumper, a proper
trailer hitch, towing mirrors, and the long bed has liner paint to
let you fully utilize its size and utility. And the lifted stance
and side steps make for a useful 4x4.
The interior is a comfortable place with nice details like the good
door panels, plush carpeting, and interior lights that greet you
when the door opens. The TMI seating is an especially nice upgrade
that gives you two comfortable buckets on each side, and the middle
is a fold-down armrest console with cup holder. There are more
features you'll love, like a retro-style AM/FM stereo, a sliding
rear window, and cold-blowing air conditioning. And it is made to
be a great driver with a tilt steering column and upgraded Classic
Instruments readouts.
Open the hood to a fresh and tidy presentation. At the heart of it
all is a 350 cubic-inch small block that's enhanced with aluminum
heads, an Edelbrock intake, and topped with an Edelbrock
four-barrel carburetor. This also has plenty of components for a
better driver, like an HEI distributor, an aluminum radiator, and
an Optima red top battery. And the headers give this V8 added power
while also giving the dual exhaust a sweet tune. The two-speed
transfer case, lifted suspension, and General Grabber tires make
for a great go-anywhere 4x4. But this one was made to be a solid
cruiser, too. You have new body bushings, power steering, power
brakes, front discs, and an upgraded four-speed automatic
transmission with overdrive. Plus, cruise control and dual fuel
tanks give it some long-haul usefulness.
Complete with build receipts, this is a sharp, powerful, and
distinct classic 4x4. So you know this is the one you want in your
garage. Call today!!!
