was a grand touring coupe sold by Studebaker motors between 1962
and 1964. The top of the Studebaker line, it was the final
development of the Hawk series that began with the Golden Hawk in
1956. Featuring a 289ci (4.7L) R1 V8 engine teamed with a 3 speed
Manual transmission. This car was ordered with upgraded Jet Thrust
R-series V-8 engine that was designed for the Avanti and was
naturally aspirated. Handling and braking improvements were ordered
a-la-carte to handle the enhanced horsepower which include front
disc brakes, heavy-duty springs, and front and rear anti-roll bars
