Camaro is rare breed of dealer-modified muscle cars - mLive website
The mLive site continued: The Berger Camaro, in fact, is among only
a handful of dealer-modified muscle cars still being sold as new
cars in the United States. And the Camaro online
authority-Camaro5-added more details: Berger (Chevrolet's) limited
production 2011 Berger Supercharged Camaro... features... cosmetic
and performance upgrades from the 2010 version. New for 2011 is an
anti-rear sway bar, Forgeline® split spoke forged wheels with 11€
width rear and body-color painted shark fin. The new 2011 optional
appearance package features new heritage front grill, 3-piece blade
style rear spoiler, billet front and rear SS emblems and 550-hp
hood emblems. Offered here in black-with-red-stripes over black is
a Berger Camaro 2SS, one of just 25 such dealer-modified cars
authorized by Chevrolet. With an accident-and-damage-free Carfax
report and showing just 9,214 miles showing on its odometer, this
is a rare opportunity to acquire a special, very limited-edition,
performance-enhanced Camaro. (For a complete listing of the car's
extensive equipment, please check out the car's window-sticker
photos in the accompanying gallery.) Everything about this
car-every surface, every special feature, every detail--qualifies
for the descriptors: showroom-new, pristine, and like-new. The car
has been driven fewer than 1,000 miles per-year on average since
new. The jet-black exterior paint is without flaw across the entire
body. No blemishes, scrapes, or even minor flaws. The twin, red,
hood and deck stripes are a heritage throwback design inspired by
the original Z28s. The stripes flow beautifully over the integrated
hood scoop and rear-deck spoiler. The exterior black theme is
consistent, with all trim rendered in the color. Only the
Forgeline® 3-piece split-spoke wheels are in chrome. The bespoke,
billet-aluminum SS badges fore, aft, and on both fenders add
flashes of red, complementing the stripes. Berger Prescribed Power
badges are mounted on the fenders below the SS identification. The
rear deck also includes the Berger dealer sticker, of course .
Cabin glass and lighting lenses are, like the rest of the car,
virtually perfect. The aforementioned chrome 20-inch wheels are
mounted with Pirelli PZero 275/40 tires in front, 305/35 on the
rear. The condition of the car's interior surfaces is identical to
the exterior, namely, free of wear indications as though the car
had just arrived on a factory transporter. The black leather seat
upholstery features handsome, deviated stitching in white, and
matched by the stitching on the leather steering wheel cover. That
steering wheel frames the large speedometer and tachometer, each
with digital numbering and analog indicator needles. This design
harkens back to the first Camaros. In the same heritage-inspired
way, oil temperature, oil pressure, voltage, and transmission-fluid
temperature are monitored by rectangular analog gauges mounted
forward on the console, just below the HVAC and audio controls. The
shifter for the 6-speed manual transmission is also
console-mounted. A Prescribed Power badge is mounted on the dash
