to feature this 1934 Chevrolet 4-Door Sedan Street Rod. This car
was built with a focus on power and luxury and featuring the
suicide four door arrangement. This build was completely restored
in 2017 and presents as still very fresh. The black paint has been
well maintained and shines with a deep luster, and the original all
steel body retains much of its original trim such as mirrors,
chrome bumpers and side running lights retaining the classic looks
of this body style. The black wall out BF Goodrich Radial T/A tires
mounted on Cragar polished aluminum wheels and the car has a subtle
California rake to it. Inside the cab has been treated to a full
custom red interior with black trim and black carpet and the
combination really pops with the black exterior. The interior is
extremely clean showing little if any wear and we cannot stress
enough the eye on detail and fit that went into this interior.
Features include Vintage Air A/C, power windows, custom banjo-style
leather wrapped steering wheel, tilt steering column and Vintage
series Auto Meter gauges mounted in a custom wood dash. Music fills
the cabin via a four-speaker system powered by a Kenwood AM/FM/CD
player. Under the hood is pure Chevrolet power with a 350 V8 which
has been upgraded with a Weber 4-Barrell carburetor with electric
choke and stainless-steel tube headers. The combustion is lit with
a GM HEI ignition and Pertronix Flame Thrower spark plug wires. The
package is dressed up with the classic fly's eye air cleaner and
matching custom aluminum valve covers and spark plug wire looms. A
custom aluminum radiator with fan shroud and electric fan keeps
this hot combination running cool. The engine compartment is clean
and well sorted with a smoothed firewall and is detailed and show
ready. The custom touches do not end on the top side, underneath
the chassis has been fully upgraded. The front end features a
Mustang II front suspension with rack and pinion power steering.
The power is transferred to a 700R4 automatic transmission into a
Ford 9 inch rear end. Braking is handled by power assisted front
disc brakes with drums brakes out back. A custom bent stainless
steel dual exhaust flows through turbo-style mufflers into full
tailpipes that exit out back through chrome tips. The exhaust has a
nice deep performance sound but resonates quietly in the cabin at
highway speeds. This car was built to drive and cruises well at
highway speeds with the overdrive transmission. You can drive this
rod anywhere in comfort with the A/C on. The car has been well
maintained and detailed and is ready to hit the local and regional
shows. Call if interested or e-mail with any questions. Thank you
for looking.
