HIGHLIGHTS: Classy and unique color combination! Tan doesn't work
on every car, but it sure looks great on this 1936 Ford Cabriolet!
With a 302V8 and a 5-speed floor shifted manual, this 1936 Ford is
a blast to drive. Nothing like banging gears to that classic Ford
V8 sound!
BODY OVERVIEW: The body on this Cabriolet is clean, straight, and
solid. Having been kept in a private collection for several years,
this car has not seen abuse and the body condition shows that it
has been cared for and driven on occasion since its
restoration.
PAINT CONDITION OVERVIEW: While tan paint doesn't normally
accentuate body styling cues, we think it looks fantastic on this
car! With a brilliant shine, this car is very eye-catching. There
are some very minor nicks here and there that are typical of a car
that has been driven, but this car has clearly been very well
maintained since the restoration. The paint has a beautiful shine,
and a deep gloss that can be hard to achieve with a lighter color
like this. The red pinstripes are the final touch that really
completes the look!
INTERIOR CONDITION OVERVIEW: Much like the exterior of this car,
the interior is in beautiful condition showing minimal signs of
use. The red color is a choice that wouldn't necessarily come to
mind for a tan car, but it sure does look fantastic tied into the
red wheels and red pinstripes! There are signs of minor wear here
and there, but the soft materials are in great shape. Nothing makes
you feel more in control than sitting on the bench in this
Cabriolet with the angled shifter right at your fingertips!
MECHANICAL OVERVIEW: Though this car was restored several years
ago, it still feels fresh! Under the hood is a good old Ford 302V8.
Tried and true, the 302 is a great choice for powering a car like
this! The engine sounds great and is more than enough power to have
a blast behind the wheel of this little Cabriolet. This car runs
great, sounds great, and is always ready for a good time! But wait,
there's more! Other hidden upgrades include front disc brakes, rack
& pinion steering, and a nice dual exhaust.
WHAT YOU'LL LOVE ABOUT THIS CAR: The floor shifter and the fact
that it's a convertible!
WHAT YOU MIGHT HATE ABOUT THIS CAR: This one is challenging to
nitpick.
DOES IT NEED ANYTHING? The horn is not operational.
WHAT BUYER IS LOOKING FOR THIS CAR? Whether you've been collecting
for years, or you're just looking to get into a blast from the past
for the first time, this classic Ford is sure to fit the bill!
