Vehicle Description
This 1966 Ford Mustang coupe is a terrific package with an
awesomely-coordinated color combo, V8 power, an A/C interior, and a
thoughtful total style. It makes for the kind of classic that you
can tell was made to be enjoyed.
The trim tag tells us this was born a code-M Wimbledon White coupe.
There was a respray later in life. It's a shiny and clean
presentation of a bright white pony car. And you can really tell
there's an overall level of care in the details, such as the
straight body panels, good gaps, clean glass, and the bumpers and
trim that give off a nice shine. It's the kind of overall
presentation that's attractive while also driver-ready. In fact, as
you look over the whole car, you're going to see the right
investment for the kind of car that's comfortable out on the road
and looks darn good at the stoplights. It's in everything from
practical pieces like the later Mustang 16-inch alloys that let you
fit modern driving tires, to the coordinating white vinyl roof that
adds a memorable touch for those who look for details. And the teal
rocker triple stripe is a cool take on a sporty icon that also
gives you a preview of the interior.
The interior gives you a turquoise and white luxury package, which
makes for a very well-coordinated overall color theme in and out.
It's also special because it's factory-correct. The carpeting,
upholstery, dash pad, and other fundamentals all show good quality
from the right investment and care. You'll appreciate the classic
details on this clean and terrific interior. It's everything from
the working dome light to the premium "pony" package on the
upholstery. There are even nice details like the correct trunk mat
and the AM radio that's still there for display. But more than just
looking great, this was built to be a comfortable cruiser. That's
why we have a recipe within the last few months showing they
serviced the air conditioning to make sure it's still blowing nice
and cold. And the bucket seats, center console, and classic
three-spoke steering wheel really give you the right vintage driver
feeling.
The engine bay is also clean from more proper care. It has a nice
look with black inner fenders, the blue block, polished valve
covers, and a matching air grabber. Ford's 289 cubic-inch V8 is
famous for being hardy, and this one has upgrades that keep it a
strong driver. This includes a two-barrel carburetor and an HEI
distributor. Plus, the paperwork shows there were recent
investments in fundamentals like hoses belts, oil, coolant, and
battery. It makes for a motor that fires up readily like a car
that's ready to hit the road. And it's easy to do with features
like a three-speed automatic transmission, power brakes, and modern
cruising tires.
The sale comes complete with the owner's manual and maintenance
records. There has been the right care and investments to give you
a standout classic that's ready to hit the road right now. Call
