In 2006, Dodge combined cargo capacity with a Hemi V8 reinventing
America's Muscle Wagon, the Dodge Magnum SRT8. This new design
wasn't unheard of as Dodge had already made the Polara back in the
1960's which featured station wagon utility having multiple V8
options including the powerful 7.2-Liter V8. Other major companies
also tried their hand at creating some high-powered wagons that
weren't just for hauling the family on vacation, but all were built
and retired back around the muscle car era. Dodge brought the idea
back into current times with its SRT wagon featuring every option
available on the well-known R/T performance line. The SRT8 Magnum
sat an inch lower than the regular Magnum and was fitted with a
performance body kit that featured special front fascia with built
in ducts to cool the brakes, a front air dam, and the back had an
intergraded wake modifier and exhaust tip cut outs.
We are excited to offer this 2006 Dodge Magnum SRT8, and true to
its SRT8 badging, this wagon is powered by a 6.1 Liter Hemi V8 with
the Multi-Displacement System producing an incredible horsepower
rating of 425 with 420 lb. ft. torque! Stopping all that power and
weight of a full-size wagon are the SRT enhanced performance brakes
with painted Brembo calipers. Exterior is finished in desired
Inferno Red Crystal which was an extra cost color compared to the
other 2 choices of Silver or Black. Loaded with all the SRT8
options to include power adjustable, front heated bucket seats
trimmed in leather with suede inserts and red accent stitching, and
a leather wrapped steering wheel for improved hand grip. The Magnum
SRT8 sits beautifully on top of 20" Forged Aluminum wheels with
brand new tires installed in June 2022 measuring 245/45R20 on the
front and 255/45R20 in the rear.
This Magnum has specially installed Lambo Doors that open and lift
up for a custom feel, but also comes with original door hinge
equipment to revert to factory set up if desired. Other custom
upgrades include the K&N Cold Air Intake System and a RX
Performance Oil Catch Can System. The spacious interior adds to the
amazing sound of the Kicker Audio with 6-disc CD changer, easily
adjusted with steering-wheel mounted controls. A rear cargo net
will hold your trunk contents in place trunk and a power sunroof
tops off this special Dodge's option list!
Having only one single owner from new and only has 14,572 miles on
the odometer! Bought new in 2006 from the local Lou Fusz Automotive
Network, it has been serviced regularly at local Dodge dealerships
along with completion of any necessary recalls. A treasured
position by its owner and stayed indoors during the winter and
driven only on fair weather days in the summer months. Included are
the original owner's manual, receipts & documents verifying service
records, along with brochures and Magnum literature. This is a
hard-to-find muscle car with the convenience of a station wagon and
ready to find its second owner to continue the impeccable care and
enjoyment. Thank you for your interest and please do not hesitate
to contact our sales team for an appointment to visit our showroom
for an up-close look.
