Mechanical
The already legendary LT1 V8 that powers the 1995 Corvette is a
direct descendant of the classic '55 "small-block" V8. The
technological progress that has been relentless- including advanced
materials, electronic engine management systems, fuel delivery, and
emissions controls- the Corvette LT1 sets an impressive standard
for V8 performance.
It is a 5.7 Liter with Sequential Port Fuel Injection, Aluminum
cylinder heads, Computer-controlled ignition timing, Serpentine
accessory drive belt, and is rated at 300 horsepower at 5000 rpm
with Torque at 340 ft-lbs at 4000 rpm.
The engine sits in a very clean and detailed engine compartment and
looks just as it did when it left the showroom floor. All the
factory valve covers, fuel rail covers, forced air intake and air
cleaner and all other factory engine parts are as stock.
Mechanically, it starts, idles and drives as a low mileage Corvette
should. All of the servicing is up to date, it has super cold a/c,
all belts, hoses, fluids are all changed and maintained at the
proper intervals, and it has great Anti-Lock brakes with black high
performance radial tires running on the factory Chevrolet Corvette
polished wheels.
Interior
Inside the interior the black leather twin bucket seat interior is
super clean and looks factory new too. It has many standard and
optional features like a Bose Gold Series AM/Fm Stereo radio system
with CD Player, Air Conditioning, Cruise Control, Power Locks, and
Power Windows, Power Seats.
The door panels, dash, carpet, center console, and displays etc.
all work as they should as well as the interior buttons, switches,
power windows, door locks, antenna, keyless entry, cruise and the
undercarriage is damage free and looks great.
Exterior
Cosmetically our 1995 Corvette sports the great Torch Red paint job
on the exterior and shows well with great body fitment and shine.
If you know Corvettes, the single most notable modification for
1995 was the redesigned fender vents which now featured more of a
fish "gill" appearance.
This Corvette cost over $45,000 when new and still looks new today.
The original Torch Red sparkles and shows like it did in 1995. The
moldings, black convertible top, window glass, lettering, rubber
seals, and all other exterior features are in great condition.
Conclusion
The Torch Red 1995 Chevrolet Corvette we have here at Skyway
Classics is very rare and striking and is your chance to buy this
one in like new condition for a lot less than the price they were
when brand new.
