This 1993 Chevrolet Camaro Z28 is one of 633 pace car editions
built to commemorate the nameplate's pacing of the 77th
Indianapolis 500, which was held on May 30, 1993. It shows 16k
miles and is powered by a 5.7-liter LT1 V8 paired with a 4L60
four-speed automatic transmission. The car is finished in two-tone
black and white with multi-color graphics over a matching interior.
Amenities include a T-bar roof with removable glass panels, air
conditioning, and cruise control. All Camaro Z28 pace car editions
were finished in two-tone black and white with multi-color body
graphics and commemorative Indianapolis 500 fender decals. Exterior
features include a T-bar roof with removable glass panels, a
decklid spoiler, and dual rectangular exhaust outlets. The body
graphics are in great condition and the car only shows some minimal
wear from age, and the paintwork can be viewed close-up in the
gallery below. 16? alloy wheels are finished in white and wear
Starfire WR tires. Equipment includes a 3.23:1 limited-slip
differential and four-wheel vented disc brakes. The interior
features seats trimmed in two-tone black and white with matching
door panels and multi-color stripes on the front seats. Equipment
includes a powered driver's seat, air conditioning, cruise control,
and power windows, locks, and mirrors. The black dashboard ( Crack
in the top ) features a passenger-side airbag and houses the
climate controls and an upgraded CD stereo. The leather-wrapped
steering wheel fronts a 7k-rpm tachometer, a 150-mph speedometer,
and gauges for voltage, oil pressure, fuel level, and water
temperature.
