Vehicle Description
1987 Chevrolet Camaro Z28 convertible owned for almost 20 years.
This beautiful fun car has been garaged kept since we bought it. We
have spent thousands of dollars and time on a partial restoration
that is almost complete. Mostly all original with minor
modifications. Original drive train complete with a LB9 305 Tuned
Port Injection engine and factory 5 speed transmission. She spent a
year in the body shop receiving a professional respray which was
done about 5 years ago. It was stripped down to metal and all trim
panels removed including OEM bumper covers etc... Interior is
original except we replaced the carpeting. Has good door panels and
dash pad with only minor cracks or blemishes. Most of the door
seals and molding has been replaced. Top was replaced about 4 years
ago with OEM factory style fabric cloth. All power accessories and
gauges in working condition. Newer Flomaster dual exhausts. Sounds
amazing! Wheels replaced with OEM reconditioned original Z28 rims.
Very fun car to drive and cruise. Ready for car shows or drive ins.
She always get looks and comments where ever we go. According to
many GM resources there were only about 744 convertible Z28's
produced in 1987. Most were badged with the IROC name. However many
had no markings other than the rocker and bumper emblems saying
Z28. We haven't been able to find out how many were built with out
the IROC labels. According to the previous owners this car was
ordered as an unmarked IROC Z28. But we have no way to document
that. Either way it is still a very low production model and will
only go up in value as the 3rd generation Camaro's continue to
become harder to find. Super fun classic car to drive or show. We
bought another toy now and are looking to sell this one. We don't
drive it as much as we used to so its been sitting for a while.
Just replaced battery and fuel pump assembly. Please Note The
