GR Auto Gallery is pleased to present this 1966 Chevrolet Badass
Chevelle for your considerations. This Chevy comes in a sharp
Marina Blue exterior that is laser straight. This street beast is
powered by a 502 V8 that is bored out to a 511 paired with a 4
speed manual transmission. Highlights include Dart heads (325cc),
roller cam, Eagle rods, Victor JR Edelbrock intake, 950 carburetor,
ATI Damper MSD ignition and distributor, 3.73 posi 12 bolt rear
end, dyno sheets, aluminum heads, headers, louvered SS hood. This
is an excellent running and driving example and is sure to leave
you in the back of the seat.
1966 saw a complete restyle of the Chevelle on the previous frame
that included smooth contours, a broad new grille and bumper
treatment as well as curved side windows. Bulging rear fender lines
and a "flying buttress" roofline (tunneled into the "C" pillar)
were highlights of the 1966 hardtops, shared with other GM "A" body
models. The new body reflected the "Coke bottle" body shape that
became the fad for American cars in the mid-1960s. A 4-door
hardtop-styled Sport Sedan joined the Malibu series.
