1977 Chevy El Camino (rare 4th gen) for sale due to family expansion. It runs great and safe, passed smog test. Mechanically largely restored (new 350cuin engine block (rebuilt carburetors to pass smog test), transmission rebuilt, rebuilt front suspension and all new rubber bushings, replaced starter and new battery, new radiator and necessary hoses, new alternator, muffler, AC runs great, new cabin ceiling upholstery, new dome light, new brakes (total replacement including disks, rotors, calipers), new windshield washer, rebuilt steering wheel column with working signal light controls, all gages restored to working order, etc.). Bunch of extras added by previous owner (wiper delay, tachometer, sound system w/sub woofer, American racing wheels, tow hook). I added rear view camera (with night vision) for easier parking. For 40 years it was serviced by the guy who originally built it in the Chevrolet Fremont, CA factory in Dec 1976! For full restoration, some additional work needed: new paint (and some body work to fix minor dents), restore rear air-ride suspension (was lowered by previous owner, now with the factory front settings it “squats” a little, but is fine to ride), replace some non-essential plastic parts (e.g. dash covers, hood mesh, some inner trim pieces, etc.). Alternatively due to ample room in the pick-up truck body, it may also be a great EV conversion project.
I have taken a bunch of additional photos showing the details and undercarriage (Box): https://app.box.com/s/t536swksfd7q40vgm4de32svrz8uu7gt
