1977 Chevy El Camino (rare 4th gen) for sale due to family expansion. It runs great and safe, passes smog test. Mechanically largely restored (new 350cuin engine block, transmission rebuilt, rebuilt front suspension and all rubber bushings, starter and battery, new radiator and necessary hoses, new alternator, muffler, AC runs great, new cabin ceiling upholstery). Bunch of extras added by previous owner (wiper delay, tachometer, car alarm, sound system w/sub woofer, American racing wheels, tow hook). For 40 years it was serviced by the guy who originally built it in the Chevrolet Fremont, CA factory in Dec 1976! For full restoration, some additional work needed: new paint (and some body work to fix minor dents), fix minor electrical systems (e.g. rear-view camera, right blinker to stay engaged, water temperature gauge), fix windshield washer, restore rear air-ride suspension (was lowered by previous owner, now with the factory front settings it “squats” a little, but is fine to ride), replace some non-essential plastic parts (e.g. dash covers, hood mesh, some inner trim pieces, etc.). Alternatively due to ample room in the pick-up truck body, it may also be a great EV conversion project.
