The incredible 1965 Buick Riviera Gran Sport featured here is finished in its gorgeous Cream Color. This magnificent Gran Sport has been meticulously maintained and preserved from new and has had only two owners since it was driven off the showroom floor. Retained by the second owner/collector for over five decades, seldom do these desirable Gran Sports come to market especially in this exquisite condition. We are glad to offer this 1965 Buick Riviera Gran Sport to the most demanding collector, investor, or enthusiast who understands and appreciates the rarity of this investment-grade American classic, an investment that I personally believe will grow beyond your imagination!

The 1965 model year marked the final year of the first-generation Riviera, and with it came the debut of the Gran Sport—a moniker that would become synonymous with performance and celebrated for years to come by Buick enthusiasts. The Riviera Gran Sport was powered by a 360-horsepower Super Wildcat V-8 engine backed by a Super Turbine 400 transmission, with larger-diameter dual exhaust, heavy-duty suspension, and an upgraded rear axle ratio of 3.42:1. Considering the beautiful Bill Mitchell styling and subtle performance upgrades, it is easy to see how Buick justified the factory price of $4,318. For the first year of the Riviera Gran Sport, it is believed that Buick produced just 3,354 examples.  Once described by the legendary Italian designer Sergio Pininfarina as ‘One of the most beautiful American cars built’, this powerful 1965 Buick Riviera Gran Sport looks as avant-garde and striking today as it did half a century ago.
