SS FEATURES, GM 350 CRATE MOTOR, FITECH FUEL INJECTION, ROTISSERIE
RESTORED, POWER STEERING, POWER FRONT DISC BRAKES! The body was
stripped down to a bare shell and put on a rotisserie. The body is
laser straight, the panels are square and flush. It was repainted
in Bolero Red (code R). The clearcoat is polished smooth, glossy
and presents itself very well. It has SS features; hood, gas cap
and emblems. All the stainless moldings are straight and shiny. The
front and rear bumpers have been rechromed. The door handles,
mirrors, wheel well moldings, taillight bezels and lenses are new
or restored. The weather stripping and window seals have been
replaced. It rides on a new set of polished American Racing wheels
with 235/45 ZR 17 tires on the front and 255/50 ZR 17 on the rear
for that aggressive look. The engine compartment is very authentic
and proper. It has a factory replacement GM motor, 350ci/275hp with
Fitech fuel injection. It still retains factory intake manifolds,
valve covers and exhaust manifolds. There are some really desirable
features including power steering, power front disc brakes and
factory A/C. Other features include a newer 4-core radiator with
correct fan shroud, correct clutch fan and a newer cadmium plated
brake booster with new dual master cylinder. Inside this Camaro is
practically like new. The dash is in pristine condition,
speedometer and fuel gauge lenses are crystal clear, heater and A/C
controls slide with ease and it still retains its factory AM radio.
The carpet, door panels, armrest bases and headliner have all been
replaced. The dash pad is in mint condition. The bucket seats have
new cushions and upholstery. There is a factory console with a
T-handle shifter and correct front and rear seatbelts. The
undercarriage is all clean metal. It was painted underneath the
same as the exterior. The front end has been completely rebuilt,
including springs, shocks, bushings, ball joints, shocks and
steering. Looking up at the bottom of the motor, it is clean along
with the Turbo 350 transmission. It has disc brakes up front with
slotted rotors. The brake and fuel lines have been replaced. There
is a new fuel tank and straps and a 3:73-10 bolt posi rear end. The
E-brake assembly is hooked up and working. It has a 2.5" dual
FlowMaster exhaust system that dumps out behind the rear tires.
This car is very clean underneath! The trunk compartment is rock
solid, I don't see any signs of rust issues or patches. The paint
under the trunk lid and jambs are as nice as the rest of the car.
It's finished in a light coat of splatter paint. It also has the
spare tire, jack assembly, factory trunk mat and new weather
stripping. This is an awesome example of the 1st gen Camaro! It's
hot and you will get a lot of compliments!
