Flash and substance: that's what you get on this 1968 Ford Mustang.
It has an enhanced 302 V8, a comfy A/C interior, nice details, and
well-done full blue presentation inside and out. So as you look
over the full package, you'll be impressed how much car you get for
the money.
The color on this one plays it close to its 1968-correct
Presidential Blue, but the shine you see now is a telltale sign of
a more modern upgrade. This gloss also does a nice job of
showcasing how straight the sheetmetal is, and on a '68 Mustang,
there's a lot more to see. These had a deep C-channel crease
running down the side, and the front and rear both had a more
aggressive overhang. This one even has the deluxe hood with turn
signals within the louvers. The dark blue also makes for a nice
contrast to really see the brightwork pieces, like the wraparound
chrome bumper, complete trim, and large dual exhaust tips. Plus,
the 16-inch XXR wheels go with overall shine package while also
giving this pony car some added elegance.
The sea of blue continues inside. A light and dark two-tone
intertwines on the seats, doors, and dash. It's an overall
attractive color combo, and the trim tag tells us this one was born
this way. The whole coupe keeps a classic and correct look, but
there are also the right well-integrated upgrades. For example, the
radio is a retro-style AM/FM digital tuner that has upgraded Kicker
speakers to give you the best in modern driving music. And the air
conditioning is running modern R134a to so that staying cool can be
easy for years to come. There's even an upgraded sports steering
wheel, and it goes with the floor shifter to give you proper
control over this pony.
Under the hood is the right look of blue oval power. The 302
cubic-inch V8 has some nice polish on the valve covers, air topper,
fan shroud, and more. More than just look good, this has the right
performance upgrades, including an Edelbrock four-barrel
carburetor, Weiand high-rise intake, and wrapped long tube headers
feeding into the glasspack-style dual exhaust. You'll also spot the
right supporting components, like an MSD Pro Billet ignition,
steel-braided hoses, AN fittings, Holley electric fuel pump, and an
aluminum radiator. This kind of solid total package delivers a
great driving classic. The crisp shifts of the three-speed manual
transmission and smooth power steering make for a fantastic
cruiser. You even have great upgrades like the modern performance
tires and new drilled & slotted front disc brakes.
This coupe has a great look, great features, and a terrific
performance attitude - exactly what you want in an iconic classic
Mustang. So don't let a total package like this slip away. Call
