Vehicle Description
Here's a well-preserved example of a sports car revolution that has
averaged less than 900 miles annually. Oh yeah, this 1994 Dodge
Viper RT-10 has all the right hallmarks of a collectible, and of
course, the fact that it's a rip-roaring V10 speed machine already
makes it irresistible.
This is a terrific year to collect a Viper. 1995 was the last of
the first generation, and as we look at the Viper's full run,
there's a big nostalgia for the car that wanted to be as raw, real,
and powerful as possible. While they were initially available only
in red, later years added color, and this one celebrates that
properly inside and out. In fact, 1995 was the only time that the
Viper had a shade of yellow available that wasn't called Dandelion.
They didn't change the actual color, but Viper Bright Yellow just
sounds more virile. Despite the change, it was still the least
popular color with less than 300 examples believed to be completed.
Starting to get the picture? Low mileage... first-gen... rare
color. This has the right recipe for true collectability. So we bet
you already love this one even before you see the level of care.
The finish looks sleek, and that highlights the well-fitting
panels. And everything looks properly clean and mean, right down to
the side pipes and distinct three-spoke 17-inch wheels. So this car
is where power meets desire.
As we mentioned before, this Viper celebrates the availability of
color. You've probably seen so many full dark Viper interiors that
you didn't know about this Cognac tan factory option. This is so
distinctive and attractive that we are glad to see low mileage/less
use in the leather seats. But as attractive as this one is, it's
also made to be enjoyed. The bucket seats envelop you, and your arm
fits so that your favorite resting spot is right on top of the
stick shift. A full gauge package is at eye level, and the
black-on-white background readouts couldn't be simpler. This has
all the right factory features, from the premium AM/FM/cassette
stereo to the keyfob alarm. There are also provisions for factory
air conditioning (it will need servicing to blow cold again.) It
even comes with the folding top and side curtains that fit in the
trunk, because these were built as a true classic-style open-top
roadster.
Also, just like the best roadsters, Mopar took the largest motor
they could find and put it in this lightweight body. That means an
awesome 8.0-liter fuel-injected V10. And just to make sure everyone
takes notice, they gave these the bold red cast aluminum intake
manifold and valve covers. This powerful package delivers a
head-snapping 400 horsepower that you take full command of with the
six-speed manual transmission. This is backed up by a fully
independent suspension, power steering, and large four-wheel power
disc brakes. There's even a new set of super-sticky Michelin Pilot
Sport tires. While all of this keeps the Viper nicely planted on
everything from the backroads to the racetrack, you are a pure
intimidation machine just standing still thanks to rumbling sports
exhaust that bellows right below your ear.
Complete with the owner's manual packet, this is the right year,
the right colors, and the right preservation for a great Viper of
distinction. Call today!!!
