Vehicle Description
This 1955 Chevrolet 210 Del Ray is one of those awesome builds
where they sweated the details over every inch (seriously, just
look at the undercarriage.) It means you get a performance crate
motor, four-on-the-floor, comfy A/C, a custom leather interior, an
upgraded suspension, and so much more. It's the kind of build where
you love to drive it just as much as you love to show it.
The paint is extra vibrant because it's Viper Red. There's less
than 6k miles on the full build since completing its frame-off
restoration, and so this bold color knows how to announce it's
something special. In fact, the way the light rolls evenly across
the whole car just reaffirms its quality. Plus, this is one for the
lovers of brightwork. The wraparound bumpers, legendary '55 grille,
and jet-inspired trim all have a mirror-like appearance of a
thoughtfully prepared classic. And the American Racing Torq Thrust
wheels lets everyone know there have been investments to upgrade
the power while still keeping classic style.
One look inside, and you can instantly tell this is a six-figure
custom that will leave you wanting for nothing. The cream interior
is a full custom setup. The supple leather has a nice pattern for
the front seats, and that sets the tone for the rear bench and door
panels. You have great cruiser features like a cup holder center
console, a retro-style AM/FM digital tuner, and cold-blowing air
conditioning. And the driver has a fully upgraded package with a
wood-rimmed banjo-style steering wheel, a tilt column, and Classic
Instruments full gauges fitted in the stock housing. And while the
features are impressive, it's the details that make the difference.
This full custom still retails cool classic features like the dual
hump dash that reminds us of the Corvette, and the seats have
special stitching to remind us it's a special and rarer Del Ray
model. Plus, everything seems to be thoughtfully integrated. You
see it everywhere from the courtesy lights in the center console to
the batter hidden behind the custom trunk panel.
This is a fresh build, and so that means a fresh crate motor, too.
And the ultra-smooth red inner walls are there to really funnel
your attention to the powerhouse in the middle. With the level of
polish and tidiness, you know this can win awards all on its own.
But more than just looking great, this is a ZZ4 performance 350
cubic-inch V8. It inhales deeply with a Holley four-barrel
carburetor, and headers let it exhale with power and a terrific
tune into the dual exhaust. You'll even spot good supporting
components like the PRC radiator, electric fans, serpentine belt
system, and billet hood hinges with gas struts. And don't forget to
take some extra time looking at the undercarriage. This has a level
of finish work that will have you putting a mirror underneath it
wherever you part. Plus, you'll spot the powder-coated frame, CPP
tubular control arm front suspension, and CalTracs traction bars.
It makes for a powerful car with a solid driver's feel. That's why
it's great to have a well-done total package that includes
four-wheel power disc brakes, power steering, and a Muncie M21
close-ratio four-speed manual transmission.
Complete with build receipts, this is the one-of-a-kind '56 Chevy
that you've always dreamed of owning. But there's only one up for
grabs so hurry and call today!
