Vehicle Description
Under the hood is a fully restored and detailed engine compartment
with a 307 cubic inch motor and TH350 automatic transmission from a
1971 Chevy C10 truck. Features include rebuilt 4-barrel Rochester
Quadrajet with a working divorce choke & ethanol resistant
accelerator pump, new timing chain, gears & crankshaft gasket and
seal, new oil pan gasket, new Summit racing billet aluminum
distributor and ignition coil, new water pump, Polished Hilborn
Style Finned Aluminum Hood Scoop with filter, new Lokar throttle
and transmission kickdown cables and brackets, new Lokar throttle
pedal, power steering conversion, 2-disc firewall brake booster,
front disc brake conversion, new power steering gear box, new water
pump, radiator, electric fan with bypass switch, hoses, battery,
cables, etc. The 307 ci motor is secured with side and front motor
mounts, 10-bolt rear-end. A new rear-frame mounted 16-gallon fuel
tank was installed with new fuel pump & sender, new brakes (front &
rear) w/ new wheel cylinders, new rear axle bearings & seals, new
front & rear shock absorbers Body/Paint: The cab and front end is
all original steel except a few small patch panels in lower cab
corners, lower rear right fender, bottoms of both doors both
interior/exterior and bottoms replaced. The body was stripped to
bare metal and repaired as aforementioned in a few areas. The body
is very straight. The complete bed is all new tins. New hood
hinges. Fitted with an original '59 front clip with inner fender
wells and core support to replace the old rusty 58 front end, hence
why the fender badging is from a '59. Replacement original '58
hood. All new bed tins, fenders, all panels, tail gate, steps,
Color is Jade Mist metallic. White paint added behind grille and
around windows. Electrical: Retro blue dot front halogen headlights
with a diamond cut feature. Rebuilt electric wiper system, heavy
duty headlight harness to support four halogen headlights and
American Auto Wire wiring harness. Electric fan relay with 210/190
thermostat, thermostat bypass switch located under dash by toggle
switch. Working dome light, controlled by under dash toggle switch.
Vintage style back-up (reverse lights). New 150-amp Powermaster
alternator. New NAPA Legend battery. Interior: Very nice and clean
looking interior. 2016 Chevrolet Silverado 40/20/40 split-bench
front seat, driver's seat is electric and equipped with electric
lumbar. 4-speaker AM/FM stereo with blue tooth in the style of a
'67 Pontiac GTO reproduction radio, in chrome and looks great!
Chrome tilt column & shift, Auto Meter gauge package under dash,
Banjo style full wrap steering wheel, chrome vent grilles-older
chrome finish, kept with the current patina. Both door vent
windows, door felts, and seals replaced. Exterior: U-Haul trailer
hitch. New leather tailgate chain covers. All new weatherstripping.
New Gaylord's bed cover, fiberglass, gas shock, and dual locks.
Under bed fuel tank with fuel fill behind hinged license plate. New
sun visor over top of windshield. Drive Train: TH 350 auto trans.
New aluminum finned oil pan, new speedo drive gear and gasket,
locking dip stick. New transmission cooling lines plumbed directly
to new radiator. New u-joints and driveshaft yoke. 10 bolt rear
differential, rear pinion seal replaced, and differential serviced.
Engine: The engine is a 307 V-8 with a displacement of 5.0 liters,
or 307 cubic inches. The engine uses a bore and stroke of 3.875
inches by 3.25 inches. The compression ratio is 9-to-1, maximum
brake horsepower of 200 at 5,800 RPMs. Good oil pressure with a
reliable range of 30 to 40 psi. Dress up kit with chrome valve
covers, Edelbrock fuel pump, Summit Racing electronic billet
aluminum distributor. Engine compartment is very nice. Simple and
clean pulley system. Aluminum radiator with thermostat controlled
electric puller fan, runs cool. Fan relay, Fan On Temperature (F):
210 degrees F, Fan Off Temperature (F): 190 degrees F. New polished
