This 1988 Chevrolet Suburban Silverado is a really nice 2 Owner
truck that spent its life in Nevada and Washington. This is a very
original and stock truck that was well cared for. The body on this
Suburban is clean and straight and it was originally a 2 Tone truck
(White & Gray), but it was repainted at some point solid white
because of the GM clear coat issues. It was a professional paint
job and the paint still looks great. They did add new side moldings
after it was painted. All of the chrome and stainless is original
and still in really nice condition. The underside is also very
clean. We found no rust issues with this vehicle.
The interior is in beautiful shape and it appears to be all
original. Just a great stock, clean interior. The only thing that
is not original is the radio which was replaced with a modern one.
The headlights, taillights, brakelights, and turn signals are all
working. The gauges work, the power windows and locks work, the
wipers, horn, heat, and cruise work. The AC system is the only item
we found not working.
Mechanically this Burb is wonderful! It starts easy with the Fuel
INjection and runs and drives great!! The engine is the original
5.7L 350 V8 TBI and it runs strong and smooth with no issues that
we could find. It appears to be all stock and it recently had a new
battery installed along with new exhaust. The transmission is the
700R4 Automatic that shifts nice and it is mated to the np241c
transfer case. The 4WD works like it should. It has a 10 Bolt Rear
End with 3.73 gears and a 10 Bolt front end with 3.73 gears. This
is all sitting on a nice set of Rallye Wheels with 31 Inch All
Terrain Tires. Great truck!!!
