Vehicle Description
This mildly customized 1957 Chieftain is presented in a gorgeous
shade of Black Cherry Metallic Pearl with a white leather interior
detailed in matching Dark Cherry accents. The subject of a
frame-off nut-and-bolt restoration completed in 2009 the body was
stripped to bare metal primed sealed and sprayed with two-stage
paint. The chrome was triple plated while the stainless was
polished to provide a high-quality lustrous shine that matched the
rest of the car. Powered by a rebuilt and balanced 347 CI V-8
engine fed by the Tri-Power carburetion the original Hydra-Matic
transmission sends the power down the line to the rear wheels. The
fuel tank filler neck was rerouted to the trunk for a cleaner look.
Drivers will love the Vintage Air conditioning and power brakes
with front discs while a 100-amp alternator easily powers the
accessories like the Wonderbar Radio. Rolling on white-stripe tires
and chrome wire wheels the overall look is remarkable subtle
intriguing and rare.
