For Sale: 1967 Shelby GT500 in Grand Rapids, Michigan

Vehicle Description

1967 Shelby GT500 Eleanor - Licensed Eleanor Tribute with Certificate - True S Code Fastback - Six Year Professional Restoration - Only 777 Miles Recorded Since Built - Highly Similar to Real Gone In 60 Seconds Eleanor - The Most Iconic Movie Car of All Time (Please note: If you happen to be viewing this Eleanor Tribute on a website other than our main website, it's possible you haven't seen all of this vehicles information. To see all over 200 photos, as well as a short start-up and walk-around video, please go to our main website: GKM dot com) Before you is a real-deal 1967 Shelby GT500 Licensed Eleanor Tribute with under 800 miles on the high end build. Everything is documented on this car from start to finish. The car retains all its factory sheet metal and was born as a real S Code Big Block 1967 Fastback. Extensive photos show the car throughout the entire rotisserie process it received. This Eleanor (yes, we can really call it that) underwent a meticulous six year restoration that was finally completed around 2011. Binders for receipts are included with the sale as well. This is an opportunity to be your version of Nicolas Cage - this car is likely one of the closest clones to the vehicle used in Gone In 60 Seconds with all the famous and iconic items shown in the movie. The engine started as a virgin 390 un-bored block, then built from the ground up. It was bored slightly over and setup properly. The car runs very strong and shifts well, although we wouldn't recommend jumping it on any bridges. Just like the movie, the car retains a very factory feel with manual steering through a Flaming River steering box. It also has 4 wheel manual disc brakes. All OEM glass (including the Fastback glass) was retained (minus the windshield) and remains in excellent condition. The entire undercarriage, engine bay and firewall were all sealed with POR15 after being sandblasted - done the proper way so it will always stay protected. Accompanying the car is a large amount of hard to find original trim pieces and parts such as trim, bezels, etc. It truly is a masterpiece from top to bottom. Almost as fun to look as it is to shift through the gears. Below is a full breakdown of noteworthy parts and specs. Any interested parties are welcome to hire an inspector to verify this cars pedigree in our showroom. Thank you for looking.
