This 1965 Ford Mustang is an awesome summer cruiser and has
numerous desirable upgrades! When the first Mustangs were sold to
the public in the spring of 1964, they launched an entirely new
genre of muscle cars known as "Pony Cars." Lee Iacocca's vision for
the Mustang to appeal to younger buyers was a sporty, youth
oriented car with a long hood and short deck, with the Mustang
eventually become a grand slam for the Ford Motor Company and one
of the most successful Ford vehicles of all time. While the 1964
1/2 Mustangs sold over 125,000 units in the first year, the 1965
Mustangs sold even more cars with over 500,000 sold in '65. The
1965 version of the Mustang featured few changes from the 1964-1/2
versions, though most notably was a change from a generator to an
alternator setup. Powering this '65 Mustang is a 5.0 Liter V8
engine with Electronic Fuel Injection backed by an Automatic
Transmission, making it a great and easy car to drive. Exhaust
exits the 5.0L V8 through dual exhaust that give the car a nice

speedometer, temperature gauge, fuel gauge and an upgraded
