This stunning, pro-built 1937 Ford Cabriolet street and show rod is
now available from the MAXmotive Pittsburgh Showroom.
Professionally built in 2014 by GIS Automotive, the result is
refined and sophisticated as well as beautiful, with a deep gloss
black finish and hand-applied red custom pinstriping on a smooth
fiberglass body. An impressive black hartz cloth top sports a bold
chop for a sleek custom appearance. Portage Trim stitched the soft
red leather interior featuring air conditioning by Vintage Air,
power windows, a tilt steering wheel, Sony sound, floor shifter,
and trick ambient lighting in red that's perfect for display. Turn
the key, and the 350ci V8 engine barks to life with an eager to go
attitude. It's fed by an Edelbrock carb on a polished Edelbrock
intake. Black finned valve covers and coated headers also highlight
the engine room. A floor shifted 3-speed automatic sends the power
to a 9-inch Ford rear with 3.55 gears. Ride and handling are aided
by the Mustang II front end with rack & pinion steering, and
coilover shocks in the rear. New Schott billet wheels with spinners
contribute to the premium feel of the build. They're mounted on
staggered Continental ExtremeContact ultra-performance tires. This
