Life is too short to drive boring cars. There are many words that can be used to describe this Fluorescent Yellow, 1923 Ford T-Bucket powered by a Chevrolet 400 cubic inch, small-block crate motor, but boring is not one of them. This Ford T-Bucket was originally built in 1978, but was refreshed in 2005. Documenting the build and any changes made to the build since 1978, is a street rod owners manual that was originally typed out by the original owner and updated by each owner after him. Currently, the T-Bucket is finished in Fluorescent Yellow with vinyl flames, giving it that old-school, street-rod look. The Fluorescent Yellow paint is in very good condition and shines very nice with only minor defects to note. The fiberglass tub is in very good condition as well. The exterior benefits from some very nice, period correct brass pieces including: the Ford radiator shroud, Ford radiator cap, vintage Fortier headlamps, front market lamps, and rear brake light housings. The exterior Brass is in very nice condition with only minor aging present in a few pieces. All of the exterior chrome is in excellent condition. The Brown leather interior is in excellent condition with no signs of wear in the bench seat or carpet. Powering this great Ford T-Bucket is a 400 cubic inch, Chevrolet small-block V8 crate engine that benefits from the addition of Brodix aluminum heads, an Edelbrock tunnel-ram intake manifold, dual Holley 450 cfm 4-barrel carburetors, and long tube headers. Backing this well built, small-block V8 is a Turbo Hydramatic 400, 3-speed automatic transmission equipped with a B&M ratchet shifter. Both the engine and transmission perform just as they should with much more power than is needed to propel this 1700 lb car down the road. This Ford T-Bucket delivers an awesome, V8 rumble thanks to the small-block crate motor breathing through the long-tube headers feeding a set of chrome side-pipes. Transferring the power to the rear is a GM 12-bolt rear end. Aiding in bringing this awesome T-Bucket to a stop are the 4-wheel Wilwood disc brakes that perform just as they should. The front wheels are Radir with Dunlop tires and the rears are Weld wheels wrapped in 15.5" wide Mickey Thompson Sportsman rubber. This Ford T-Bucket handles extremely well despite its very short wheelbase and handles well at 55-60 mph. This 1923 Ford T-Bucket is nicely equipped with features such as: Flaming River tilt-steering column, chromed hairpin front suspension, chromed triangulated 4-link rear suspension, Stewart-Warner gauges, Wilwood 4-wheel disc brakes, and B&M ratchet shifter. If you are in the market for a great, turn-key ready T-Bucket that has plenty of horsepower to put an instant smile on your face and has that classic street rod aesthetic that is sure to grab people's attention, then you will want to take a close look at this 1923 Ford T-Bucket.
